History
Sarola is a village in the Chiusavecchian Municipality in Imperia Povince. The village was inhabited in the early Middle Ages. The inhabitants lived on olive-growing and agriculture. It became part of the Chiusavecchia municipality in the 12th Century.

When coming from Genua, take the highway exit to Imperia Est and follow the SS28 towards Torino up to Via XX Settembre in Sarola.
