From Colla you have a fabulous view of the area and you can quickly access a variety of hiking and mountain bike trails.
There are two ways to Colla from Diano San Pietro. The road that winds its way through a relatively flat rise uphill or "scorciatoia", and the shortcut on foot which will quickly get you to the village without outlandish bends and again runs uphill; this road is for pedestrians or cyclists.
When you go through the medieval lanes past the torrential water stream (name of the stream) up to the Diano San Pietro Church Square, you will find a butcher, two grocery stores and a drug store. The village is located behind the coastal town of Diano Marina and therefore offers you a good starting point for all types of holidays. Lovers of nature will particularly get their money’s worth in Colla. The beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails that lead through the olive groves are unique.
The Diano Marina beach is worth visiting too. You can relax nicely and enjoy the sun and the sea. Restaurants, bars and ice cream parlous will cater for your occasional refreshments. Colla is part of the Diano San Pietro municipality and is a village in Imperia Province located in the Liguria region. Take the exit to San Bartolomeo al Mare from Genoa / Nizza, and drive towards Diano Marina. From Diano Marina, drive towards Diano San Pietro. When you reach Diano San Pietro, turn right towards Colla and follow that road until you see Via G. Buonavera on the right. You are now right in Colla.
