Mild climate all year round
and the biggest nature park in Genoa
Nervi offers art lovers “Galleria d’Arte Moderna” in Villa Saluzzo and apart from the nicely designed port, it also has wonderful roses in Villa Grimaldi. Those taking a walk enjoy the fresh air from the sea on the 2 km long Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi.
"Torre Gropallo" can be seen clearly both from the land and also from the sea.
Our next vacation domiciles are in Recco
Some people believe the name (Nervi) is coined from "Near Av Inn", which roughly means a "place near the sea". It is said that the Celts originally had a colony in Nervi and that they settled there, but it is more likely that this locality was given that name in honor of the Roman Emperor Marco Cocceio Nerva because a troop of soldiers who were loyal to him found a new place of refuge there.
